In 2002, John “Jay” Borg used his knack for cooking to specially curate the perfect Louisiana Cajun seasoning with all of the flavors of a classic Cajun meal without the overbearing saltiness. After years of experimenting with different blends of spices, he perfected the mixture and gave it a name – Bayou Mud. Before long, he began sharing the Louisiana Cajun seasoning with friends and family through his cooking.
Soon enough, Jay had those friends and family knocking on his door, asking for more Bayou Mud. The demands for the Louisiana Cajun seasoning became enough to open shop and start selling.
